Privacy Policy

Psytegrity understands that our clients, customers, and examinees value their privacy.  As such, Psytegrity is committed to protecting all Personal Identifiable Information (PII) and Protected Health Information (PHI) and complying with current data protection legislation.  This Privacy Policy is designed to inform you about our practices regarding the collection, use, storage, and disclosure of information that you may provide via this Psytegrity website, associated Psytegrity software applications (apps) via computer or mobile devices, email or telephonic communications, and in-person or remote televideo interviews.  Please be sure to read this entire Privacy Policy before using or submitting information to this site.

Confidentiality and Security

Whether through registering and completing an assessment online using the Psytegrity Assessment Portal or software app, or through any email, telephone, televideo, or in-person communication, each examinee may be required to furnish some or all of the following personal information: full name, gender, date of birth, address, phone numbers, email address.  The examinee may also be required to furnish information about their physical and mental health history, signatures on forms, and proof of identity in the form of a photocopy of a government issued identification card (e.g., Driver’s License or Passport).  As such, Psytegrity has put in place various electronic safeguards and managerial processes to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, maintain data integrity, and protect against the inappropriate use of such information.  All PII and PHI collected is maintained and protected in secure, password protected Psytegrity files or databases; this includes all examinee assessment responses, assessment scores, and any related examiner reports (collectively, the “Assessment Information”).  Although no such security and safeguards are guaranteed to be 100% effective, Psytegrity will use its best efforts to employ state-of-the-art security measures to protect such information.  Further, given that no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure, Psytegrity cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information individuals transmit to Psytegrity.  Psytegrity will notify affected individuals following any identified breach of unsecured PII or PHI.

Disclosure and Use of Information

All PII, PHI and Assessment Information obtained and managed by Psytegrity is never disclosed to examinees undergoing evaluation for occupational selection or forensic purposes or to any unauthorized third parties, except as described herein this Privacy Policy or unless otherwise required or allowed by law.  Psytegrity may disclose PII, PHI, and Assessment Information to any of the following:

  • Psytegrity clients and customers for whom we are providing assessment and evaluation products and services.
  • Business partners and external consultants who provide assessment products and services to or on behalf of Psytegrity
  • Law Enforcement or other public or governmental regulatory bodies when required to do so by law or regulation, code of practice or conduct, or at our own discretion when doing so is believed to be an appropriate course of action to protect the rights and interests of Psytegrity, its clients, third parties and/or protect the safety and wellbeing of examinees or any other identified parties.
  • A company acquiring or merging with Psytegrity or a company acquiring any Psytegrity assets through a purchase or bankruptcy proceeding.

Data, Studies, and Research

Psytegrity may use Assessment Information and demographic information, only when in anonymous and aggregated form and it is unable to be linked back to an identified person, for the purposes of conducting validation studies, adverse impact compliance analyses, developing normative data sets, and for other research or scientific study in efforts to enhance the quality of Psytegrity products and services and/or to remain in legal compliance with governmental audits.

Marketing

Psytegrity and its third party affiliates may occasionally communicate with registered users, clients and customers through email and other methods.  Psytegrity and its third party affiliates will use their best efforts to only communicate with individuals who have subscribed to such communications, or with persons whose information is already deemed public information.  Psytegrity will cease communicating with any individuals who unsubscribe to such communications.

Cookies

To enhance the users experience with the site, Psytegrity may place a small text file called a “cookie” on a user’s computer hard-drive to store such user’s preferences.  Users can assess and delete the cookie files on their computer at any time.  The Help portion of the toolbar on most browsers will explain how to prevent a browser from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify a user when it receives a new cookie, or how to disable cookies altogether.

This site may use content or provide links to third-party websites that are not owned by Psytegrity. Psytegrity has no control over third parties and assumes no responsibility in connection with any users’ use of third party content or web sites.  We recommend that users check the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy of any website before users provide any personally identifiable information.

IP Addresses

An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to a computer whenever it is being used to surf the Internet.  Web servers automatically identify computers by their IP address. Psytegrity may collect IP addresses for the purpose of system administration, to prepare aggregate information, and to monitor the use of this site.

Privacy Policy Updates and Acceptance

Psytegrity reserves the right to update its Privacy Policy from time to time as conditions or legal requirements dictate.  In cases where changes to the Privacy Policy are implemented, those revisions will apply to all PII and PHI that we maintain, regardless of the date it was created or received. Customers, clients, examinees, or site users are responsible for periodically checking for any updates.  By using this site, users signify their assent to this Privacy Policy as it is in effect at the time of such use.  An individual’s continued use of this site following the posting of any changes to this Privacy Policy will mean that they have accepted and agree to be bound by those changes.
